Your nutrition targets

Your calorie and macro targets come from your fitness profile — your weight, your goal, how much you train. They are the numbers on Today’s meals.

A target set once stops fitting. You lose 6 kg and the calories that created the deficit are now maintenance. So AtgoraX watches, and says something.

Calculate → Track → Analyse → Adjust → Confirm.

Nothing in that loop is silent. The app never changes your targets behind your back — it raises a suggestion, explains why, and waits.

Three things, and only these:

1. You are doing everything right and nothing is moving

Section titled “1. You are doing everything right and nothing is moving”

You logged your food, you hit your targets, you trained — and the scale has not moved in the direction your goal asks for. The app suggests a review.

This needs a real signal before it fires: a two-week window, at least three weigh-ins in each of those weeks, food logged on most days, and roughly 80% adherence to your calories and protein. Without that, it stays quiet rather than reading noise as a trend.

Your weight has drifted far enough from the weight your target was calculated on — about 4%, and at least 2.5 kg — that the maths behind the target is out of date. The app suggests a recalculation.

Switching from fat loss to building muscle, or a real change in how much you train, changes the answer. Editing your profile never moves your targets quietly: you get the same explained suggestion, with Accept or Keep what I have.

A Nutrition review card appears on Trends › Nutrition and on your Today screen, plus a single notification. One push per suggestion — it will not nag.

The card explains itself in plain terms: what it saw, over what period, and what it proposes. A change is a share of your current target — about 5%, rounded to the nearest 50 kcal — never a blunt “add 200”. Every macro is recalculated from your trend weight, and calories are never taken below a safe floor.

Then:

  • Accept — the new targets take effect.
  • Edit — take the suggestion and change the numbers first.
  • Dismiss — keep what you have.

After any answer, the app waits about two weeks before raising the same kind of suggestion again. A suggestion nobody answers expires on its own.

A facility instructor coaches workouts; nutrition is part of the Personal Trainer tools they can add for themselves. Until they do, your targets are yours to decide.

An accepted change applies to you — it does not rewrite your trainer’s meal plan. If that plan is shared with other clients, theirs is untouched.

If your trainer later edits the plan’s own targets, that becomes the number again.

Trends › Nutrition is where all of this lives. Tap any nutrient — calories, protein, carbs, fat — to open it day by day, with where each day landed, what is driving the pattern, and your streaks. Journey carries a nutrition part alongside your training, so the two can be read together.

Past days are judged against the targets that were live on those days, not today’s. Accepting a new target does not rewrite last month’s adherence.
