Build a meal plan
Build a nutrition plan the same way you build a programme.
Your Meal plans page
Section titled “Your Meal plans page”It opens on three cards: Library (every plan you have built), Build for a client, and History.
Building a plan
Section titled “Building a plan”- Open Meal plans → New plan.
- A plan is a full week — one row per weekday. Day N is always a weekday, so “Monday” is never a lie about which day it is.
- Add meal times to a day, and foods to each meal time.
- Watch the built-in nutrition analysis as you go — it totals each day so you can balance the plan.
- Assign the plan to your client.
Leave a day empty and it reads as eat freely on the client’s side. It is not a missed day and does not count against their adherence — which is what you want for a day you deliberately left open.
Targets apply to every day unless a day sets its own.
The week planner
Section titled “The week planner”Rather than the full builder, you can open a plan as a week of cards: each day’s meal times, its calories against target, and which days are free. Tap a day to edit in place, or Copy one day’s menu onto another.
Meal times
Section titled “Meal times”Every plan starts with the four standard slots — Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Snack — but you are not limited to them. You can add your own named meal times and use them like any other slot: Brunch, Pre-workout, Post-workout, Supper, Iftar, whatever the client actually eats to.
- Give the slot a name of up to 40 characters.
- Standard slots are listed first, then your custom ones.
- Custom slots work everywhere the standard ones do — reminders, logging, nutrition analysis and the client’s meal screen.
- Meal times are ordered by time of day on the client’s screen, with custom slots last.
This matters for clients on shift work, split training days, or eating patterns that do not fit three meals and a snack.
One day’s menu, for one client
Section titled “One day’s menu, for one client”As with training, you do not need a whole plan for one day. On a client’s profile, the Meals tab carries Today / Plans / History, and the quick menu editor sets that day’s meal times and foods, ending in Assign today’s menu.
Anything you build there is a draft — invisible to the client until you assign it.
Suggested plans
Section titled “Suggested plans”Rather than starting blank, you can have a draft built from the client’s targets and the food library, then review and assign it. You are asked a short brief first — how long, how complex, how many meals a day — and the engine reads their existing plans and logged meals so the draft is curated to them.
Reminders
Section titled “Reminders”Any meal in the plan can carry an optional reminder time, and the client gets a notification then to log it. Reminders respect the client’s own notification settings — see Notifications.
Nutrition targets — you approve the changes
Section titled “Nutrition targets — you approve the changes”AtgoraX watches whether a client’s calorie and macro targets are still working, and raises a Nutrition review when they are not — a stall despite good adherence, a real change in body weight, or a goal change.
For a coached client, you approve it, not them. The suggestion arrives on their profile and on your dashboard with its reasoning, and you accept, edit or dismiss. Accepting applies to that client only — your plan is never rewritten, and other clients on the same plan are untouched.
Full detail: Your nutrition targets.
The client’s side
Section titled “The client’s side”Their logs work offline and sync when they reconnect. Notes they write on a day are visible to you, and the app tells them so where they write them.
