Build a workout program
You have two ways to give a client training: a programme (a schedule over weeks) or one workout for one day. Both start from the same place.
Your Programs page
Section titled “Your Programs page”Your Programs page opens on three cards:
- Library — every programme you have built.
- Build for a client — a one-off workout or a programme for one person.
- History — what has been assigned and finished.
Building a programme
Section titled “Building a programme”New program opens on a choice first:
- Quick build — a short guided wizard. Recommended.
- Full builder — every option, day by day.
Then:
- Add days and exercises. Use straight sets, or Circuit / HIIT blocks for timed, grouped work.
- Add cardio to any day — it sits next to that day’s lifting, and your client sees it on both their workout and their Cardio screen. There is no separate cardio plan.
- Set the difficulty and any per-exercise notes or tips your client will see.
- From week 2 onwards the wizard offers both copy the previous week and start blank.
Writing weights and reps the way a gym does
Section titled “Writing weights and reps the way a gym does”Each exercise carries more than a number, so “20 kg” cannot be misread:
| Set on the exercise | So it reads |
|---|---|
| Total or each hand | ”20 kg each” for two dumbbells. |
| Total, per side, per arm or per leg | ”8–10 reps/leg”. |
You can also prescribe a weight range, leave the weight for the client to pick, or mark the movement bodyweight. Volume and the client’s next-session tips are worked out from all of it.
Assigning
Section titled “Assigning”Assign the finished programme from the client’s profile. Programmes move through assignment states (assigned, active, completed) so you can see where each client is.
Your client then trains from Today’s workout, logging set by set — and it all works offline.
One workout, for one client, today
Section titled “One workout, for one client, today”You do not have to build a programme for a single session. On a client’s profile, the Program tab carries their live today’s workout card, and:
- Choose a workout for … opens a chooser with that client’s own past workouts and saved workouts, plus your own. Pick one → Use as is assigns it; Adjust first opens it to edit.
- With nothing there, the quick editor builds a day from scratch, ending in Assign workout to …
Drafts are invisible until you assign
Section titled “Drafts are invisible until you assign”Anything you build for a client this way is a draft. Your client cannot see it, and it is not on their day, until you press Assign. Assigning publishes it and notifies them.
A workout you assign for a date replaces that date’s programme session for scoring — it counts as followed. (A client planning their own day instead is scored as swapped: counted in what was due, never as missed.)
The client’s side
Section titled “The client’s side”Everything above lands on screens documented once, for every trainee:
